Peter Spannagl

Peter Spannagl joined Bayer in 2014 and is currently Senior Manager, Learning & Development, based in Leverkusen, Germany. As Program Director within the Bayer Academy, he is responsible for designing and implementing global Senior Management Programs, including Leadership and General Management Development as well as Business School education. He also supports key global company initiatives in Learning & Development.

Before joining Bayer, Peter was Director of HR Strategy at the Brose Group, a global first-tier automotive supplier. With over 30 years of experience in various HR and Talent Management roles, he has worked with international companies across multiple industries, including Leipziger & Partner Public Relations Ltd., HypoVereinsbank Group, General Electric Group, and Benteler International. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education from the University of Applied Sciences, Munich, and has studied Pedagogics, Philosophy, Psychology, and Political Sciences. He is a certified Public Relations consultant and leadership coach.
